"I'm Gonna Cut You Right Off"

I don't know why, but this might be one of the best videos I've ever seen! Michael Jordan chastising Harrison Barnes (UNC Freshman) for wearing Kobe's. Love it!

The Real Peterman: The Movie

Thank you YouTube!

Jasmin Cadavid

Chile's president Sebastian Pinera engaged in some very personal diplomacy with President Barack Obama on Monday. "I think the first lady of the U.S. is very good-looking," Pinera declared during a joint news conference with Obama in Santiago midway through Obama's Latin American tour. According to Pinera, the sentiment was mutual. "President Obama has said the same about the first lady of Chile."
Obama smiled but didn't elaborate on either first ladies' appearance – at least not in public. The similarities between Pinera and Obama go beyond the attractiveness of their wives, according to the Chilean leader. Closing out their news conference at La Moneda Palace, Pinera reeled off a list of things the two leaders have in common: Both are left-handed; both studied at Harvard; both are "sportsmen," as Pinera put it through a translator. The personal coincidences couldn't hurt the presidents' mutual goal of strengthening relations between their two countries."Modestly, if I could suggest to President Obama, we hope to have a partnership," said Pinera.

You Had Me At Adrianne!

The first glimpse of Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman for NBC's new pilot of the comic book reboot.  I was a fan of Adrianne on Friday Night Lights and by the look of this costume I will be a fan of Wonder Woman

AT&T the nation’s #2 wireless company plans to acquire the country’s 4th largest wireless company T-Mobile. The new company will be comprised of 130 million subscribers, while Verizon Wireless the nation’s old #1 wireless company has somewhere between 94 and 102 million which already has some financial analysts nervous. Reports Forbes: Analysts are already expressing doubts. In a March 20 research note, Credit Suisse analyst Jonathan Chaplin called the deal “phenomenal…if it happens.” The reason for his skepticism? The regulatory risk for such a deal is “enormous,” wrote Chaplin. The antitrust implications spur Chaplin to write that he has “never seen a deal with more regulatory risk be attempted in the U.S.” He adds that since “It is unlikely that AT&T would attempt a deal that they knew would fail,” the company may be willing to make “massive divestitures and concessions” to win approval for the transaction.

PETA + Vida

I'm not sure how I feel about Vida anymore.  It looks like she got some work done to her lips?  She looks thinner too...

88 Billion!!!

The Microsoft co-founder is expected to notch in at number two on the magazine's forthcoming 2011 billionaires list, with an estimated worth of $49 billion, behind Mexican business magnate Carlos Slim (estimated wealth $60 billion). While Warren Buffet is presumed to round out the top three.

But here's the crazy part: according to David Lincoln, director of global valuations at wealth research firm Wealth-X, if Gates didn't give away so much dough, including $28 billion to his Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, he would have a net worth of about $88 billion, making him the richest man in the world.

That means Bill Gates's charitable contributions are more than the combined net worth of Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg. And he's still number two! Seems $30 billion can't hurt him.

But not everyone is impressed with Gates's philanthropy. Carlos Slim has gone on record saying that good businessmen are ones that create jobs by investing their money, "not by being Santa Claus."  Don't be a hater Carlos!
